With that said, it’s been anything but smooth, as it looks like the judge is going to strike down rather harshly on both Rachel and her mom, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).

Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Kristen could get 7 years in prison for perjuring herself on the stand.
If fans recall, Kristen told the judge and the jury during Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) trial that she was the one who shot EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
She wanted to save any stress – or juvi time – for Rachel. Now it seems as if the move will end up biting her in the butt.
Unfortunately, rather than taking the news with calmness and patience, Kristen lashed out at the judge, which only made matters worse. So, will Kristen ever be seen in the land of Salem once she heads back to Statesville?
Stacy Haiduk Sets The Record Straight
Haiduk recently spoke with Soaps.com to set the record straight. It’s important to remember that while the actress is on The Young and the Restless, reprising her role of Patty Williams, it looks like Kristen won’t go anywhere anytime soon.
Well, at least Haiduk won’t. Days of Our Lives films several months ahead of broadcast, and Haiduk told the online soap magazine that she’ll continue to work with DOOL, “… pretty much all the way up until I think November.”
Kristen’s prison stint is more of a “break” than an exit as Haiduk notes the Peacock soap tends to put her characters to rest now and again.
Then again, if Kristen goes off canvas, that still doesn’t mean Haiduk won’t be seen on the show, as she also plays EJ’s eccentric mother, Susan Banks!
Besides, Kristen has a way of getting out of prison situations, so only time will tell as to how she returns to “freedom”!
