Prince Harry’s UK Return Drama Intensifies After Meghan Request Revealed

Prince Harry has made it clear that he won’t be doing Invictus Games without his loving wife by his side.

Now 2027 is right around the corner, and both the UK’s and the Royal Family’s attitude to the Sussexes, Meghan in particular, still remain somewhat hostile and lukewarm, at best.

As a result of this, Harry wants an assurance that his wife will be treated with basic decency when she accompanies him for the event.

Prince Harry Doesn’t Want Family Casting Meghan Markle As the “Villain”

Invictus Games 2027 is coming, and alongside inviting his father to play an important role at the ceremony, Harry will also be arriving with his wife, Meghan.

“He says all he’s asking is that she’s treated with basic respect and not cast as the villain before anything’s even happened,” an insider told In Touch.

“The last thing he wants is Meghan walking into a situation where she feels judged,” the source explains, adding that the dad of two would love it if the firm could offer some kind of a “reassurance that everyone will keep things polite and give her a fair chance.”

This means that Harry is going to find himself juggling two things: reconciling with his father, whilst at the same time protecting his wife Meghan from unnecessary scrutiny and criticisms.

The source then goes on to claim that Charles is already on board with Harry’s vision. The two people more likely to fiercely oppose him being Prince William and Queen Camilla.

Looking at things from a broader view, the insider found it a bit laughable that the same Harry pushing for peace is the same one making demands about what the road to peace should look like.

“The irony here is that Harry has been the one begging for this chance to come back and now that it’s going his way, he’s putting up all these roadblocks,” the source said.

“Of course, people are assuming Meghan is the one pulling the strings, so in a way he’s only making things worse by doing this,” the insider noted.

However, the most surprising development is that King Charles opted to remove Meghan Markle’s picture, which was formerly on display, at his Highgrove home. This move has drawn quite a lot of speculation as to what might follow next for the couple.
