Earlier this month, just before the Sussex couple jetted off to Australia for a four-day trip, they attended a Netflix event.

As always, the appearance was met with a lot of backlash as many fans questioned Meghan’s attire, and of course, her over-the-top cling to Netflix big shot Ted Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant.

The pictures were labeled “cringe” and “unflattering,” but now they’ve disappeared.

Source Says Pictures Must Have Been Taken Down On Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Account

Insiders believe that the mystery behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s pictures being removed from Getty is not so mysterious.

Basically, the couple requested that it will be taken down due to the excessive backlash that they received because of it.

The insider believes that the call to take the pictures offline would have definitely come from the Sussex camp, since it was impossible for the streamer to make an about-turn when they’d already approved the pictures for distribution.

A photographer on assignment for Getty was the one who took the pics, but per insiders speaking to Page Six, Netflix called to ask that the pictures be removed less than twenty-four hours later.

After most of the pictures were taken down, only two remained, with one of them a pic of the Sussexes taken with Sarandos and Avant. Allegedly, the other images were removed because their quality was poor.

This is coming after fans criticized the photos from the event, calling them “cringey” and “unflattering.”

Meghan’s tight hug with Avant was branded “needy,” and done from a desire to prove that she was still tight with the Netflix CEO. This is despite a claim by Variety that Netflix has closed its door on the divisive and controversial duo.
