New information arrived this weekend about fashion designer Martha Nolan-O’Slatarr, who was found dead on a yacht in Montauk last year.

TMZ reported Saturday that “newly revealed medical records obtained by the New York Post” show EMTs discovered the 33-year-old “cold to the touch with dried blood around her mouth, chest and head.” Responders also saw extra blood on the floor nearby.
Nolan-O’Slatarr was found unresponsive on a boat at the Montauk Yacht Club around midnight on August 5, 2025. Good Samaritans attempted CPR, but she died at the scene.
In an earlier August 2025 account of the story, E! News noted that the Suffolk County Police Department confirmed homicide detectives were “investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.”
The Details
TMZ reported that the Montauk Fire Department’s report said that “Martha’s nail beds were purple” and she had “slight purpling around her lips.”
The report added that there was “no active bleeding or obvious source of trauma,” though a first responder guessed some blood “may have come from the back of her head.”
Unanswered Questions
EMTs heard that a man had been sharing the same bed as Nolan-O’Slatarr and he called 911 after he said he couldn’t wake her.
Boat owner Christopher Durnan is the only person previously confirmed to have been with her. The Irish Mirror detailed how Durnan, an investor in her beachwear brand, was spotted “running down the dock naked around midnight” looking for help.
Durnan’s lawyers claimed he stripped because Nolan-O’Slatarr “vomited on him.” However, the report cited by TMZ doesn’t “mention any vomit at the scene.” And that might raise some new questions.
A Lawsuit
The family of Martha Nolan-O’Slatarr recently filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against Durnan, and it accuses him of “assault, negligence and gross negligence.”
But it should be noted that Durnan hasn’t been charged with a crime, and police continue their investigation.
