It might be the end of another era on Sister Wives, and word on the internet is Janelle Brown is leaving the family reality TV show. 

Of all of Kody Brown’s wives, she is probably the first we would expect to officially quit.  In fact, it’s shocking she stayed on the show this long after her split from Kody.

When Christine Brown divorced Kody she quickly dived in to the dating pool and remarried David Woolley.  Meri Brown also tried to get back in the saddle, but her romances have turned out to be dumpster fires since her divorce.

However, Janelle Brown seemed uninterested in finding a new man and went on her own journey to self-discovery.  Right when Janelle seemed to be healed from the break-up, The Sister Wives star’s son committed suicide last year. 

Since his devastating death, Janelle has been sharing cryptic posts on social media about her “new chapter” and adventures in North Carolina where she is living now with some of her grandchildren.  

Since Season 20 of Sister Wives began airing last month on TLC, rumors about Janelle’s exit have been heating up. 

Kody’s ex has all but confirmed she is done filming on social media, and frankly seems happier than she has in a LONG time.  Is the chapter that Janelle is closing in her life reality tv?

Longtime Brown Family followers know that of all the cast members, Janelle is the one that cared the least about headlines and clout.  Janelle has always lived well below her means and even slept in a camper for months. 

While the Brown’s were out spending their reality show checks, Janelle Brown has been clearly saving her money.  

It was clear since Sister Wives began twenty seasons ago that Janelle joined the show to pay the bills and it was nothing more than a job for her.  So, it seems like she might be officially retiring and ready to live her golden years (although a little earlier than some retirees).
