That’s because many fans have noticed that the actor, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, has made it pretty clear that he wants to talk about anything but the storylines that are happening in Port Charles right now.
In fact, Steve doesn’t mention at all that he’s an actor on his Instagram bio. Instead, he talks about being a health and fitness coach and even shared a link for other people who want to work with him as a coach, too.
Clearly, Steve is trying to distance himself from the daytime television world. But there might be a good reason for it.
In court documents that were obtained by Radar Online, Steve complained in his custody battle with his ex-wife Sheree Burton that one of the reasons why he moved to Tennessee is because wanted to get away from California.
The actor believes that the cost of living is way too high and that the 20 hour commute each week to the set of General Hospital was way too much for him to handle. And who can really blame him, right?
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Steve Burton?
A lot of General Hospital fans now can’t help but wonder if this might have been the reason why Steve decided to take a break from filming General Hospital for a few months. All of the stress has certainly taken a huge toll on his mental health.
