Hallmark Star Tamera Mowry Joins Scrubs Season 2 Cast

Scrubs fans have been counting down the days until the hilarious reboot returns to ABC with all new episodes.

With the season 2 premiere less than a week away, the network is releasing new spoilers for upcoming episodes.  Keep reading to find out who ABC added to the Scrubs Season 2 cast!

Scrubs (Reboot) Season 2 Premiere

The Scrubs Season 2 premiere on ABC is right around the corner.  The gang will be back with all new episodes on Wednesday, September 30.

TV spoilers say that fan faves Donald Faison, Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, and John C. McGinley will all be back.  Plus, the show has added a NEW character to the staff at Sacred Heart.

According to a report from TV Line, Tamera Mowery has reportedly signed on as “Dr. Steffie, a pediatric doctor who tries to persuade Ava Bunn’s Tosh to choose peds as her specialty. Mowry will appear in the second half of Season 2’s two-part premiere.”

Tamera Mowry is no stranger to TV, the talented actress made a name for herself in Hollywood after her debut on “Sister, Sister.”  In more recent years, Tamera has become a fan fave on The Hallmark Channel.

Some of her movies that have aired on Hallmark include: Scouting for Christmas (2024), Tidings for the Season (2025), Inventing the Christmas Prince (2022), Girlfriendship (2022), Christmas Comes Twice (2020), an the popular Haunted Harmony Mysteries Series.

As of right now Mowry’s character on the ABC Scrubs reboot is just listed as a special guest and it’s unclear how many episodes the actress is scheduled to appear in.  But, we have a funny feeling that she might be a hit on the show!
