General Hospital fans recently found out that Ethan Lovett seemingly came to Port Charles to meet the pregnant mystery woman name Delilah.
When Nathan Parsons returned to the ABC soap opera, it was announced that it was for one storyline.
Now that the Delilah storyline is moving along again, does that mean that he’s leaving soon?
Ethan Lovett’s Return Was Reported As Brief
When news broke that General Hospital was bringing back Nathan Parson (now Nathan Dean) to play the part of fan fave Ethan Lovett, the actor wasn’t put back on contract.
TPTB described the actor’s return as a single arc and now we know what storyline they were referring to.
The soap star sat down with TV Insider last month to discuss his return, the actor reiterated that his stay in Port Charles wouldn’t be permanent. Dean explained to the website, “I wanted to come back for a little bit after everything with Tony, just to sort of pay my respects for everything he did for me over the course of the many years that we worked together.”
Is Ethan Leaving Again
It’s not a question of if Ethan Lovett is leaving again, it’s more a question of when will he leave. There’s no final air date listed for the character yet, but there has been some developments in the Delilah case.
Now, Ethan can stop looking for his “partner,” because he knows that she is dead. But, there’s still the matter of Delilah’s baby.
Ethan Lovett was clearly bothered by Delilah’s demise, but he managed to hide it. He also got a little emotional when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) introduced him to the baby that Delilah gave birth to.
There’s some speculation that the little one could actually be his daughter. Does that mean he will try to take the baby with him when he leaves town?
Are you hopeful that TPTB will change their minds and bring Ethan Lovett back full time? Do you think when he leaves he will take Delilah’s baby with him?
