Uncomfortable Questions
Lucas is approached at work at General Hospital by his roommate, Joe, who interrogates him with uncomfortable questions.
It’s clear that Joe is on official business as he says, “We think you know more about Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) disappearance than you realize.”
It sounds like Joe and whoever at the PCPD sent him are reacting to the allegations in Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) article.
Lucas seems unsure as to exactly what Joe might be referring to that would make him think that.
The only connection would be that someone possibly noted Brennan with his aunt Ava Jerome (Maura West) the last day he was seen alive!
As previously reported, Lulu’s exposé could stir up new questions about Brennan’s disappearance.
Jordan And Michael Argue On The Quartermaine Jet
It’s quite likely that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) are on the Quartermaine jet as they’re on the way to Baden-Baden, Germany, for Jordan’s procedure.
Jordan obviously disagrees with something he said as she confronts him — she says, “With all due respect, that’s a total cop-out.”
It’s possible they may be talking about Port Charles’ favorite subject, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and whether he’s really left the mob or not. Sonny and the mob were a big part of Michael’s life growing up, and Jordan won’t tolerate any excuses he might sound like he’s giving him.
Daughter-To-Mother Confrontation
In the meantime, Serena and Lucy are in a restaurant together, as Serena updates Lucy on the plan she gave Serena to carry out involving Michael.
Lucy had wanted Serena to seduce Michael to get him to sign all his shares of Deception over to her. Serena is definitely not happy as she tells her, “There is a pretty big problem with your perfect plan!”
For one thing, Michael’s not interested in signing away any Deception shares. For the other thing, he’s not attracted to Serena, and she’s not attracted to him!
Lucy’s determination to regain control of Deception has already put Serena in a difficult position.
Jason Is Taken To Task
In the meantime, the latest Quartermaine family newbie to the business world is taken to task — Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is confronted by his cousin Ned.
Ned is stern with Jason, and he tells him, “I’m the head of ELQ, and you’re answering to me now!”
Jason may be wondering if he’s even cut out for the world of cutthroats and boardroom battles.
Even though he went to med school years ago, that was before he had the now-legendary brain injury that Ned was first on the scene to try and help him. Jason seems to be more of a blue-collar guy than a boardroom diplomat!
Brook Lynn Opens Up To Tracy
In the meantime, at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is given food for thought as she opens up to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
It’s obvious she’s upset about the marriage problems she finds herself in, as she tells her grandmother she doesn’t know how much more of this she can take.
The impending divorce from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has been very difficult for Brook Lynn emotionally, and the fear of a custody battle over Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) even more.
Tracy will likely continue to steer her to believe that she’s better off without her Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)-worshipping husband!
Editor’s Take
I think Joe’s questions could put Lucas in a very uncomfortable position, especially with Brennan’s disappearance still hanging over Port Charles.
As for Jason, I can’t wait to see how he handles Ned ordering him around. Jason has faced some dangerous people over the years, but the Quartermaine boardroom might be an entirely different battlefield!
And I really feel for Brook Lynn. I hope Tracy gives her some encouragement because Chase certainly hasn’t made things easy for her.
