GH Spoilers: Was Maxie Married To Cassius Or Nathan

A lot of General Hospital scenes that aired before we knew Nathan West was an impostor really don’t make sense now.  Why was Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) so emotional when he was reunited with his wife if he has never met Maxie Jones before?  More importantly, Maxie of all people should have been able to tell he wasn’t her husband.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the place when Maxie Jones reunited with her not dead husband.  When Nathan West returned to Port Charles in 2025, Maxie was in a coma and had no idea he had come back from the dead. 

Nathan went about business as usual and began working at the PCPD as if nothing happened.  However, eight months later Maxie unexpectedly woke up from her coma and returned home.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones was understandably shocked when she and Nathan were reunited. 

She had a tough time wrapping her mind around the idea that her husband climbed back out of his grave, but she never really questioned the fact that it was Nathan.  Cassius was able to fool his brother’s wife with ease, some might even say he has done it before.

GH Spoilers: Maxie Can’t Tell Because She’s Been With Both Brothers

If anyone on GH was supposed to figure out that Nathan West was a fake, it was his wife and mother of his son.  If Maxie Jones can’t tell them apart, then it’s not surprising that nobody else can. 

However, there’s also another possibility.  Cassius’ emotions could have been real when he saw Maxie.  If he had swapped places with his brother in the past, that means Cassius could have been married to her and loved her at one point.
