‘GH’ Spoilers Thursday, July 16: Curtis Meets His Son, Sonny Plots Against Valentin, Anna Questions Britt & Joss Speaks Out

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Thursday, July 16 tease Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) meets his son, while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talk.

Plus, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) plots with Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to break Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) up!

Stella Advises Isaiah

At GH, Stella Henry (Verneé Watson) advises Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) who’s there to see Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).

After delivering her son at home with the help of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), Portia and Baby Boy Ashford are now in the maternity wing.

Stella tells Isaiah “I’d consider giving the two of them some space”-actually three, counting the baby.

Isaiah probably regrets not being with Portia when she went into her very quick and unexpected labor, especially since the birth was completely natural-which is hard.

But mother and baby appear to be fine, and Jordan was an excellent, if scared, midwife!

Curtis Meets His Son

In the meantime, as Stella and Isaiah are talking elsewhere in the wing, Curtis is in the room with Portia and the baby.

She asks him if he’d like to hold his son, and he bends over to look at the baby in amazement. He never had that chance with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and so he wants to be around his son as much as he can.

He never knew Trina was his until she was an adult, and everyone concerned suffered trauma because of Portia’s years of lies!

Josslyn Has A Visitor

Still in the hospital, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets a visitor-it’s possible it may be Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) although it could be someone else.

She gives the person some sage-sounding advice for her young years, as she says “You don’t want that-trust me!”

It’s obvious, whoever Joss is talking to, that they want something to happen  or to make something happen that’s not in their best interests.

As Anna previously gave Josslyn some good advice, it sounds like Josslyn is paying it forward. She sounds like she knows what she’s talking about, the other person should listen!

Britt And Anna Talk

Continuing their conversation after they ran into each other in General Hospital, Britt and  Anna talk.

They’ve gone into a stairwell in the building so they can continue talking in privacy, since GH has more ears than a cornfield!

Anna will interrogate Britt about some things, and unbelievably, Britt tells her that the two of them have a lot more in common than she thinks!

What might Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) daughter tell Anna that she perhaps hasn’t told anyone else before?

Sonny Plots!

In the meantime, Sonny and Brick are at Sonny’s place, as Sonny is extremely disturbed about his ex-wife’s love life! He tells Brick, “We have to figure out a way to get Valentin out of Carly’s life!”

Sonny knows that Carly trusts Brick implicitly, and hopes he can talk some sense into her-although Sonny himself has put her in more danger over the years than Valentin ever has!

Chances are, Carly will respond by telling Sonny to butt out of her love life, although the fact that Anna is back does intimidate her.

Will Brick be able to do as Sonny says, or will Carly tell him to butt out too?
