General Hospital preview for the week of August 17 shows a scene of Sonny and Sidwell’s face-off in Pentonville.
Sidwell enters the prison visitor area, and he makes a note that he isn’t shocked to see Sonny there, while Mr. Corinthos makes a dry remark about Sidwell’s prison jumpsuit, stating he doesn’t think beige is his color.
With that said, why would Sonny go and visit Sidwell? To rub his sentence in? After all, Sonny was the reason that Sidwell landed behind bars.
That doesn’t seem like Sonny’s style. So, is he there to make a deal with the criminal?

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Sonny has decided to leave the mob life behind.
Part of helping with this transition is that Sonny needs to acquire some of Sidwell’s assets, which are slated to be auctioned off very soon.
Some others in Port Charles are interested in these assets as well, and they include Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
In fact, Valentin has presented a deal to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to act as a consultant for him where Sidwell’s assets are concerned.
Will Sonny hope to strike a deal with Sidwell in a similar regard? Could he provide “protection” for the criminal in return?
It was mentioned during the Friday, August 14 episode that Sonny still ‘knows’ people on the inside.
If Sidwell is struggling with inmates, Sonny could offer a solution by encouraging certain people to back off. Either way, there’s something Sonny needs from Sidwell, but will Sidwell be willing to help him out?
