‘GH’ Spoilers Monday, January 26: Jason Worries, Joss Turns To An Unexpected Source, Sonny Distracts Ava

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, January 26 tease Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) worries, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) turns to an unexpected source for help. Plus, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) distracts Ava Jerome (Maura West).

Jason Worries

After what happened at Bobbie’s in Friday’s episode, Jason’s worried enough about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to hunt her down at GH.

Britt is frustrated as she lashes out at Jason, telling him if he ever cared about her at all, then leave her alone!

Of course Jason has no idea that the sinister European head of the WSB, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) threatened to get rid of him if Britt didn’t.

Jason is suspicious enough to know that there’s something wrong behind Britt’s bizarre behavior, and it’s something very serious.

Will Britt be able to convince Jason it’s best they don’t continue in even a friendship?

Curtis Is Relieved

Elsewhere, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is on a dinner date with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and he’s relieved about something.

He tells her as it turns out, there’s no need to bother, obviously referring to something they’d discussed previously. 

Jordan will also broker an introduction in Monday’s episode, but will it be something Curtis is involved in or some other situation?

Considering Jordan is working for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), this introduction could be something she has to do for work.

Josslyn Turns To An Unlikely Source For Help

In the meantime, Joss turns to an unlikely source for help-but for now, she’s talking to WSB Field Office Director Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna).

Brennan, who just deactivated Josslyn and told her to stay away from Wyndemere Castle, doesn’t look happy.

She is frustrated as she wants to know if he wants to hear what she found out or not?

She likely wants to tell him about something suspicious about the catacombs where Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) warned her and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) away from.

As far as who the unlikely source may be, might it be Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) or Liesl Obrecht, (Kathleen Gati) who also lived there?

Marco Demands Action

In the meantime, Marco is at Wyndemere and he’s demanding action-he tells someone he wants Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) taken out of the equation for good! Marco still blames Sonny for the death of his mother, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue) who was close with Sonny at the time.

Who might Marco be talking to-has Pascal (Marc Forget) returned from France, or was he even there to begin with?

Or might he be talking to Cullum, who’s obviously Sidwell’s boss even though he’s said to be “his partner”?

Sonny Distracts Ava

Elsewhere, Sonny distracts Ava-as a matter of fact, he suggests something distracting. He asks, “can you get any bigger distraction than that?” 

What exactly might Sonny have in mind to distract Ava with-and more importantly, why? Does her apparently semi-romantic relationship with Sidwell have anything to do with wanting to distract her?

Possibly, he’s just talking about a fun distraction where they can go with Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) together as co-parents.

Or, might he be trying to get Ava to distract Sidwell long enough for him to make some headway in bringing Sidwell down?

Carly Talks To Sidwell

In the meantime, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) seems to have an unusual dinner partner as she sits with Sidwell! 

Perhaps that’s the introduction that Jordan was involved in earlier-and the two seem to be deep in conversation.

She tells Sidwell “Bingo!” during their conversation-might this be something to do with bringing Jack down, which she and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are collaborating on.

So, is this meeting something Jordan set up, or possibly Valentin suggested, or is it something else entirely?

Sidwell had wanted to bring the Cassadine into his and Cullum’s organization, but he has no idea that he and Carly are working together!
