'GH' Spoilers Monday, February 16: Carly’s Skeptical, Molly’s Good News, Lucas In Big Trouble!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, February 16 tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is skeptical, while Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) has good news. Plus, at Wyndemere, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is in trouble!

Key Points

  • Carly Spencer questions whether Ric has a hidden agenda

  • Elizabeth Baldwin and Ric Lansing’s date takes an unexpected turn

  • Chase and Brook Lynn celebrate Valentine’s Day amid lingering tension

  • Molly Lansing-Davis shares exciting news with Alexis Davis

  • Lucas Jones is physically stopped from leaving Wyndemere

Carly’s Skeptical

Carly is talking to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about something related to “the business” it sounds like.

She tells him Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) says Ric doesn’t have an agenda, but she doesn’t believe it. It almost sounds like Carly isn’t trusting Ric, which would be very unusual for Carly.

The question that’s obvious is what Carly means when she’s calling it an agenda-does she thinks Brick has his own agenda, or does she just mean a plan? Brick always has a plan, and usually it’s for Sonny, not against him!

Liz And Ric On A Date

In the meantime, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) are out on a date, but she may not have expected it to be at the axe throwing place!

He’s dressed casual, but she’s dressed up like she expected a fancy restaurant. But, she plays along and arises to the occasion although her body language may be giving her true feelings away.

Ric calls her on it, that’s pretty obvious, the way she answers gives that away. She asks, “Are you implying I don’t know how to have fun?”

Chase And Brook Lynn Celebrate

In the meantime, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) are out having dinner.

Chase tells his wife, “This will be a Valentine’s Day to remember”. It appears that they’re in a restaurant with a dark, romantic ambiance although they’re not super dressed up.

Chase and Brook Lynn have been in a rough patch lately, and it’s practically all been due to his obsessive rescue attempts of Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

Hopefully Chase’s efforts to make this Valentine’s Day memorable will smooth the waters between this couple!

Molly’s Good News

At the Metro Court, Molly obviously has some good news as she excitedly seeks out her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

She’s smiling from ear to ear as she tells her she has something to tell her!  Perhaps Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was successful in her recent efforts to talk some sense into Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and they’ve made up!

Of course, her novel being accepted for publication is nothing to sneeze at, but considering Molly didn’t want to publish it, she’s likely not excited about that. But she certainly is happy and that is certainly a good thing!

Mother-Daughter Confusion?

In the meantime, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is talking to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at General Hospital, and there seems to be some confusion.

Liesl seems to be asking Britt something and Britt tells her she has no idea what she’s asking right now.

Britt just got a shock when Nathan Reeves (Ryan Paevey) came and told her that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) says their father is alive.

Might Liesl’s question pertain to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and his current state of existence or non-existence, and Britt can’t tell what she knows?

Britt is working on her father’s final project, albeit under duress-if he were alive, why isn’t he working on it himself?

Michael And Jacinda’s Valentine Day Date

Elsewhere, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) are on their Valentine’s Day date, and Jacinda wisely observes, “Let’s just say there’s one born every minute!”

Might she be rephrasing the old line attributed to P.T. Barnum,  where he said “There’s a sucker born every minute?”

Just what or who might she be referring to, and what are Michael and Jacinda plotting together? It is true that there are many gullible people in the world, and Michael and Jacinda may be banking on that to complete their plan!

Lucas Is In Trouble!

In the meantime, Lucas is in trouble at Wyndemere after overhearing Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) say something Lucas wasn’t meant to hear!

The two get into what appears to be a violent argument, and Lucas is livid as she shouts, “No more!”

But Marco isn’t cooperating, to say the least-he grabs Lucas’s arm as he tries to leave, and tells him he isn’t going anywhere!

Will Lucas be the one who takes Anna’s place in the room down below? Will he be Wyndemere’s next captive?
