You bet she is! She’s full of makeup and moving around like she’s ready for a marathon. While we’re happy to see Maximista back in the land of the living, her ability to jump out of her hospital bed in street clothes and berate her bickering kids is hysterical. Let’s find out what’s in store for the medical miracle patient in the coming days!
Maxie is Awake
But first, a little background about how Maxie got into her predicament in the first place. Last August Maxie discovered that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) Deception investment was dirty.
She planned to go to the DA’s office but before she could squeal, she fell over during a Home and Heart face cream demo.
At GH it was determined that Maxie had a heart attack which is not good considering that she is a heart transplantee.
Maxie Is a Heart Transplantee
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) found an unidentified enzyme in Maxie’s blood, and later we learned that Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) poisoned the cream to silence her.
The poisonous enzyme was supplied by Sidwell’s partner, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
We predict that Maxie will investigate where the problematic enzyme came from and put herself in danger again. But will she find out about Sidwell and Cullum, or will the truth be buried?
Lulu and Nathan Skirt Danger
What we do know is that Maxie has more to worry about than silly enzymes. That’s because Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) are crushing on each other.
While the poison enzyme story is tantalizing, the rizz playing out between her ex and her bestie is even more spicy.
