Has Liesl been able to figure “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) and his “return from the dead” and Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) out?
Liesl Never Mentioned Twins, Giving “Nathan” To Her Sister To Raise
General Hospital viewers remember when Nathan was first revealed as Liesl’s son, she’d given “Jay” to her older sister Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) to raise to keep him safe.
She’d also claimed that Victor Cassadine (most recently Charles Shaughnessy) had been his birth father-but has never mentioned twins.
Somehow, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who was older than her brother let slip Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) had four children.
However, the implication was that Britt didn’t know she had younger twin brothers, only the one Liesl gave to Madeline to raise until after she’d been involved in the Five Poppies.
When she first came back, and “Nathan” showed up later, she knew he was Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) but never revealed it, and arranged for their mom to go out of town.
Liesl Returns From The Seminar Britt Set Up For Her To Go To
Britt was obviously getting her mother away from the situation of “Nathan” having “come back from the dead” when she started interfering in his “reunion” with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
In a recent episode, after Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) questioned Liesl if “Nathan” could have impersonated his father to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) Liesl seemed deep in thought hugging her son later.
Soon, according to other General Hospital spoilers, Liesl will begin having frightening flashbacks from when she gave birth to twins; it’s possible that something so traumatic happened at delivery, she blocked it out.
Again, Britt apparently never knew about the twin until she met Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) henchman Cassius while working on their father’s cold fusion project at the Five Poppies.
The Reason Liesl Gave Nathan To Her Sister To Raise And Victor Cassadine’s Name As Father
Anyone could understand the terror of giving birth to twin boys and then having one snatched away, perhaps while still in the hospital after giving birth.
This would have had to have happened before Britt even got a chance to meet her baby brother, or brothers, since she didn’t know previously to working at the Five Poppies.
The implication is that it either happened in the delivery room, or possibly in the recovery room, but she never knew who had him!
Liesl would have assumed Faison was behind it, but she followed him around for years, never knowing what happened to her second boy.
So, it makes sense that she’d give her remaining twin to Madeline to raise and named Victor as birth father before leaving the hospital-and realizes “Nathan” must be her stolen twin!
