General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that a sneak peek video has been released for the episode airing on Monday, September 14.
In this episode, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will continue his intense confrontation with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), urging her to rectify her error.
Jason Pointed Out That Britt Knew Of Anna’s Captivity, Yet Did Nothing
As Friday’s GH episode came to a close, Jason pointed out that Britt was aware of Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) captivity. While Britt is pushing for Anna to face charges of attempted murder, it was her own trauma that led to the breakdown on Mount Emerson.
Had Britt spoken out earlier and facilitated Anna’s rescue, it’s likely that Anna wouldn’t have spiraled so deeply.
Jason will attempt to convey to Britt on Monday’s show that she bears some responsibility for Anna’s current mental condition. Naturally, Britt will take offense, especially since she was recently held at gunpoint.
Jason Turns The Tables, Pressuring Britt To Take Accountability
As Jason turns the tables on Britt, pressuring her to take accountability, she is unlikely to take it well. Still, Jason remains steadfast, knowing that Britt was aware of Anna’s hostage situation on Spoon Island.
Britt realized Anna was being held and tortured when Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) arrived in Port Charles, yet she chose not to act. While Britt may argue that she lacked full knowledge of the situation, this will not change Jason’s perspective.
She will assert that she had no involvement in Anna’s plight, claiming she was forced to assist with Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.
Jason Will Acknowledge Britt Was Under Duress
Jason will acknowledge that Britt was under duress, but he will argue that she still opted to turn a blind eye.
He is aware that Britt was being blackmailed with a fake “cure” for a non-existent case of Huntington’s Disease and that she witnessed Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) murder Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard).
To Jason, Britt had the opportunity to help Anna but chose not to reveal the truth about her captivity.
Therefore, Jason will offer Britt a chance to rectify her past mistakes, but it will mean abandoning her efforts to have Anna imprisoned again. “You didn’t save Anna then, but you can redeem yourself by saving her now.”
Jason Continues To Chastise Britt, And She Will Feel Betrayed
In Monday’s sneak peek video, Jason continues to chastise Britt. As old insecurities resurface, Britt will experience the sharp pain of betrayal.
Previously, she voiced her frustrations about Jason prioritizing Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) needs over her own, and now she’ll express similar grievances regarding his attention towards Anna.
Britt yearns to be the top woman in Jason’s heart, but this situation will lead her to doubt if that dream can ever be realized.
According to General Hospital spoilers, the conflict between Jason and Britt is set to intensify, so be sure to catch the upcoming dramatic scenes.
