There has to be more to those seven years Nathan was presumed dead and why his grave was found empty when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had it checked.
Seven Years Of No Memories, Including How He Came To Port Charles, And Why?
Viewers will remember how Nathan showed up in Port Charles, driving a pickup that he got in a wreck with, and he was unconscious. Lulu was the one who found him out in the country outside of Port Charles, even the fact that he drove a pickup seemed strange.
Nathan was a New York City boy who was raised by his aunt Madelyn Reeves (Donna Mills) because Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) didn’t want him exposed to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
The Nathan who fell in love with and married Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) never came across as an urban cowboy, someone who would drive a pickup-unless it was a vehicle of convenience.
Normally, Nathan wouldn’t steal a vehicle either, unless it was a case of having escaped from somewhere-or someone, and he remembered he lived in Port Charles, somehow.
Could Nathan Have Awakened From Stasis, Or A Coma, And Escaped His Captors?
There are many questions and things about Nathan that just don’t seem to fit-how he knew to drive the pickup to Port Charles is just one of them! And then there’s the mystery of who took him from his grave and to wherever he’s been for the last seven years.
The most logical explanation for his seeming death is that someone injected a drug that would make him seem dead-one that affected his brain and his memory.
Someone wanted him for some reason, and who knows what he was involved in during that time-a time that he no longer remembers.
And then there’s a question if someone else’s memory could have been implanted-someone who’s father taught him the periodic table!
Lulu Starts To Investigate-But May Or May Not Tell Nathan
Nathan is very anxious to start romance with Lulu, and she has been very hesitant-might there be some suspicion that he’s really who he claims to be, or is it all worry for Maxie?
If Lulu is suspicious, then she may not tell him she’s investigating those missing seven years-but on the other hand, maybe she just would want to surprise him. She knows going into this investigation that she may find out some things unexpected, perhaps some things unwanted.
But she also knows if someone else’s memories and mind have been transferred into Nathan’s brain, that it may be his body and DNA but not fully him! And there are friends and children to protect if that should be the case!
