GH Spoilers: If William Baines Looks Familiar, Here’s Why

General Hospital introduced ANOTHER new character this week on the daytime soap.  The ABC sudser introduced WSB Agent William Baines to Port Charles, and it looks like he will be sticking around for the foreseeable future.

If the actor portraying the new character looks familiar, it’s because he has an impressive resume.  Keep reading for all of the details!

Soap Star Joins Show

According to General Hospital comings and goings, the part of Agent William Baines is being played by soap alum Alimi Ballard.

Ballard made his daytime debut in the 90’s on the now defunct soap called Loving on ABC.  The Frankie Hubbard portrayer then went on to appear on the show’s spinoff “The City” for a few more years.

After Ballard made a name for himself on the ABC soaps, he went on to book dozens of primetime roles.

Over the years the new General Hospital star appeared on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Numb3rs, Boomtown, NCIS, Hollywood Heights, CSI, The Catch, Queen Sugar, The Good Doctor, and Criminal Minds, just to name a few.

More recently the talented actor appeared on One Of Us Is Lying, RZR, Vamp PD, Law & Order, and The Family Business.

Alimi Ballard Debuts On General Hospital

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ballard’s character has traveled to Port Charles to investigate the murder of Agent Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna, Young & Restless).  And, it looks like he means business!

On the September 3 episode, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had the pleasure of being questioned by Baines regarding Brennan’s death.
