General Hospital Spoilers gossip Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may have botched any chance Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) had at getting her kids back today.
Against Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) advice, Drew took the stand and spiraled out of control, viciously attacking Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and making a fool of himself and Willow for all to see. Alexis’ labeling of him as looking “unhinged” was on point.
With Drew being such a colossal disappointment, will Willow reach out to her ex-husband in hopes of seeking peace, or has that ship already sailed too far? Could Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) be the lynchpin that assists Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) in pulling Michael and Willow together for the sake of family, while crushing Congressman Cain?
The Tight Wire
Hearing Drew testify to having bribed Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois) might have been the straw that will break Willow’s trust.
We already know Willow isn’t really with Drew because she loves him. When she found out about his affair with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), that was it. She was done.
Moving forward, Willow sat her own feelings aside for the betterment of her children, even if that meant marrying a man she hated and had just tried to kill.
If anything, standing by him would paint her as anything but wanting him dead. But now we know Willow is the shooter, and that begs the question: Does she deserve to go free?
Drew is Port Chuck’s Most Hated Man
Recall when the investigation first kicked off into Drew’s shooting that the PCPD knew they would be overwhelmed with work. That many people hate Drew and would be just fine if they were to never see him again.
Now that Gio knows Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) are somewhat witnesses to Drew’s shooting, he agreed to help them figure out who had Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) ringtone set to Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star.
But now that they know it’s Willow and not Michael, will this trio agree to let Willow off the hook — or blow the whistle to make sure Michael stays in the clear?
Michael May Want His Family Back
Kai and Trina might be keen on seeing to it that Willow goes down for this if it’ll ensure Michael isn’t targeted as the next suspect in line.
But after Gio saw the look on Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) face as she spoke of wishing Wiley and Ameila Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) could keep both of their parents in their lives, he might think it’s important to try to do the same.
Can’t you just see Gio going to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to seek help in approaching Michael with the news that Willow needs saving? Isn’t there a world where Michael still wants his family intact as long as Drew is excised from it?
Would he help Willow and keep both their names clean — leaving Willow forever indebted to him and Drew feeling like Michael won?” Stranger things have happened. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
