General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, September 4 reveal Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) confrontation, and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) panic! Plus, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) makes a promise.
Key Takeaways:
- Chase confronts Lucy and demands that she amend her statement as his investigation intensifies.
- Ava panics over a health scare while another far more dangerous secret—Brennan’s death—remains buried.
- Martin reels over Drew’s latest moves, including his determination to keep damaging secrets hidden.
- Sonny fears a looming disaster and turns to Alexis for crucial legal advice.
Chase’s Confrontation
After comparing notes with Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) at the police station about the night of Jordan and Curtis Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper, Donnell Turner) wreck, Chase makes a confrontation.
He and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) appear to be in the Quartermaine mansion breakfast room, and he’s really shaking her up! Lucy is visibly shaken as an angry Chase takes her to task.
He’s not in uniform but he did tell Joe that he’s clearing some things up on his own. Chase makes his demand clear-and she’ll have to come into the PCPD to do it-“Amend your statement!”
Ava’s Panic
At General Hospital, Ava panics as she asks Dr. Isaiah Gannon, (Sawandi Wilson) “How sick can that little bug make me?
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had checked what was making the back of Ava’s head so itchy, and she found a tick-which apparently she removed with a tweezers.
But now Ava’s getting checked out and perhaps Isaiah did some lab tests on the removed tick-they spread several diseases.
For one, Rocky Mounted Spotted Fever-and for two, Lyme Disease. Not to mention bacterial infections, parasitic infections, and something called Alpha-Gal syndrome, which causes an allergy to red meat-no more steak for Ava?
A total of nine different diseases can be spread by the nasty little critters!
Michael’s Promise
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Michael makes a promise to Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup).
He promises him that he’ll see to it personally that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is no longer a threat to either him or Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Willow now knows that Kai and Trina were in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house the night that Drew was shot, and they know that she did the shooting.
Willow may not be able to be charged with the crime again because of double jeopardy, but other repercussions could happen.
If made public, it could create a huge scandal that would potentially lose her both her Congressional seat and her children!
Drew Updates Martin
In the meantime, Drew updates a very uncomfortable looking Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) who was the one who gave him the virus to hack into the Metro Court’s security system.
He seems to be referring to Willow as he tells him, “Whatever she’s got on me will stay buried”.
Drew can only hope that something else stays buried as well, although it’s a sure bet that Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) body will eventually be found!
But if it takes long enough, they may not have anything to identify him with except his DNA! Drew stole his wallet and put it in Nina’s car to frame her-perhaps he pushed Jack in the pool as well!
Sonny Has Legal Questions
In the meantime, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has legal questions for Alexis Davis, (Nancy Lee Grahn).
She’ll walk him through everything, as he asks “How big of a disaster do you think that’s going to be?!”
It can be assumed that the legal questions may pertain to the upcoming auction of Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) properties, although it could be other matters.
But for him to refer to whatever it is as a “disaster” it has to be something very important!
