‘GH’ Spoilers Friday, July 31: Drew’s Dastardly Threat, Jason Grills Britt, Carly’s Questions

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, July 31 tease Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is wary, while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has questions.

Plus, at the Metro Court Pool, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes threats!

Key Takeaways

  • Jason questions Britt on the hospital’s new surgeon, Tristan.
  • Carly and Valentin have a nice afternoon at the Metro Court, celebrating their recent ‘win’.
  • The PC baseball league is in full swing, as Lucas and Joe get to know each other better.
  • Sonny and Ric talk business.
  • Drew makes a threat toward the Quartermaines as a whole.

Jason Morgan Is Wary

Jason walked into General Hospital during the Thursday, July 30 episode, only to see Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the Nurses’ Station.

Tristan was Jason’s escort back home back from Jakarta; however, it was hard to see a WSB link.

As Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) came to the hospital to see him on Thursday’s show, and Tristan’s discomfort while Brennan was there, it seems to seal of a connection the doctor has to the WSB.

When Jason saw Tristan talking to Britt, he became wary and suspicious. During the General Hospital promo for Friday’s show, he’ll ask Britt how much she knows about that doctor she was just talking to.

Carly Spencer’s Got Questions

In the meantime, Carly’s got questions, as it looks like she and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) might be at the Metro Court or in the vicinity.

Carly asks, “So, what happens now?” No doubt he’s told her that his assets are unfrozen, so she’ll want to know if he still wants Wyndemere … which she wants nothing to do with!

Valentin obviously must have some kind of plan, even though Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) told him that Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) would be the heir to the property.

But with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) still in prison, will the castle just sit empty?

Batting Practice

At the ballfield, getting ready for the annual Port Charles softball league games, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is talking to Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) in Friday’s preview.

It sounds like they’re discussing something other than game strategy, especially considering they’re on two different teams!

In fact, they may be discussing the Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) case, which both Lucas and Joe are involved in.

Lucas tells Joe maybe he’s noticed something that the rest of them have missed!

Brotherly Catch Up

Over at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, he and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) catch up, as Sonny tells him he’s got a better way to keep the bidding to a minimum.

It sounds like they’re discussing some type of deal, so could this be about Sidwell’s piers that he took from Sonny?

Sonny will also summon Jason, so he can be up to speed since the Corinthos Coffee warehouse probably had to be moved when Sidwell took the piers.

He’ll also have to try to get Jason to trust Ric, while he’s at it!

Drew Cain’s Threats

At the pool, Drew must be swimming since he’s shirtless, and he makes threats to Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton)!

Drew tells her that by the time he’s done, the Quartermaines will lose everything!

She’ll also defend Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to him, so perhaps he and Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) are close by as well.

It sounds like Drew is still angry about being cut out of the Quartermaine inheritance, since he too is Alan Quartermaine’s (Stuart Damon) son!

He is still stinging over what happened after Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) died!
