Sonny Corinthos Gets Involved
General Hospital spoilers for the week of May 25-29 note that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get involved in Rocco’s situation.
He’ll want to ensure that his grandson is safely transported out of Port Charles. Dante Falconerni (Dominic Zamprogna) should’ve reached out to his mob boss sooner, but as the old adage goes, better late than never, right?
Britt and Rocco took off at the close of the Friday, May 22 show, but they won’t get too far until Sonny’s intel tracks them down.
Sonny will offer his help, so Britt and Rocco will gladly accept. Still, Sonny can’t be involved in taking them out of town to raise suspicions.
Perhaps the same logic will apply to Dante and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening). So, who will Sonny volunteer for the trip?
Ethan isn’t only Rocco’s uncle; he’s Sonny’s employee. Could Sonny trust the safety of his grandson and Britt in the hands of his new “right-hand” man?
Of course he would! Ethan is loyal to his family; there’s no way he wouldn’t step up for this job.
Sparks Fly!
There’s nothing like a dangerous situation to trigger a romance, right? Sure, Britt is madly in love with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but all arrows are pointing to the idea that their relationship will likely fizzle once he returns.
After all, Jason may return a very different man from his time away from the WSB, and it’ll still be months before Jason appears back on the canvas.
While arrows are pointing to Ethan’s love interest being Ava Jerome (Maura West), thanks to a scene they had recently, that may have simply been a chemistry test to gauge fans’ reaction if Ethan and Britt don’t work out.
Regardless, if Ethan is in charge of Britt and Rocco, there’s sure to be friction between the Aussie and The Britch.
After all, Britt doesn’t like being told what to do, and she’s fiercely protective of Rocco. With that said, will this friction evolve into romance? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
