General Hospital spoilers and updates suggest that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might struggle to communicate and realize he needs to unveil Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) sinister scheme.
GH viewers are aware that Drew is in a tough spot, as Willow is administering a drug that renders him unable to move or speak.
Drew’s Doctors Diagnosed A Stroke, No Drugs Were Suspected
While Drew’s doctors suspect he suffered a stroke, it’s actually Willow who has orchestrated this nightmare through an injection, intending to keep him incapacitated with additional doses.
Drew knows the truth and may begin to devise a plan to escape this predicament. With plenty of time to contemplate, it could be intriguing for fans to eventually hear his inner thoughts.
In any case, Drew might pledge to fight back and find a way to alert another character about his critical situation. However, his options for sounding the alarm are quite limited, as he doesn’t have many people eager to visit him.
Kai Might Be Drew’s Best Bet
Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) could be Drew’s best option, as he intends to be at the house occasionally to keep an eye on Drew if possible.
Given that Kai is already wary of Willow, it won’t take much to persuade him that she is still plotting against Drew-especially if he catches her using a suspicious drug vial. Kai might interrogate Drew and receive some telling confirmation about Willow creating more trouble.
However, there’s a chance that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could arrive with a get-well-soon card from Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) or something similar. Alexis may also want to check in on Drew herself, as she is concerned about Willow’s ability to care for him.
Drew Could Try Blinking A SOS To Alexis
Could Drew attempt to send a blinking message in response to Alexis’ inquiries and indicate that Willow is the cause of his troubles? Alternatively, Drew might struggle to connect with someone like Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) during a home visit to check on his condition.
Regardless of the situation, Drew could try to blink the appropriate responses to the relevant questions and inform someone that Willow is causing him distress.
However, this doesn’t guarantee that Drew’s strategy will succeed- particularly since Willow will be cautious about leaving him alone with anyone else- but it’s definitely something he might try if given the opportunity.
Naturally, if Willow becomes careless and skips a dose he might attempt to slur some words to someone or even muster the strength to pull himself out of bed!
