Dean Geyer Joins General Hospital Cast
This week General Hospital fan faves filmed the show’s monumental 16,000th episode. The soap’s Instagram page showed several actors celebrating with cake on set, including an unfamiliar face.
Australian actor Dean Geyer can be spotted in the crowd, and he’s set to make his Port Charles debut on Monday July 13th.
According to a new report from TV Line, “Dean Geyer has joined the soap in the contract role of Tristan Roberts. He began taping June 1, the same day the show filmed its landmark 16000th episode. If the name sounds familiar, that’s by design. Tristan Roberts is named for the late Tristan Rogers, who played Aussie spy Robert Scorpio on and off from 1980 to 2025, and passed away on August 15, 2025″
Tristan Roberts Debuts On General Hospital
If the handsome new General Hospital cast member looks familiar, you might recognize him from the Aussie soap Neighbours.
He also appeared on Glee, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Zoey 102, Shades Of Blue, and the holiday movie Christmas In The Pines.
It’s unclear if the TPTB at General Hospital just wanted to pay tribute to fan fave Tristan Rogers by naming a new character after him.
Or is he actually related to Robert Scorpio?! GH spoilers say that the new character will have an Australian background, and fans know that is also where Robert Scorpio hails from.
