Now, let’s discuss how Brennan could learn about Rocco being the shooter and how he might use this as leverage. Let’s go back to when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) left the scene in late 2024.
At that time, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was devastated and seeking answers about her boyfriend’s death. She was also eager for revenge!
Joss approached Brennan, asking for any footage the WSB might have from the area where Dex was attacked.
Brennan dismissed her, suggesting the agency lacked such technology. But that was a lie, as he had access to video showing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was the attacker.
The WSB Could Have Video Of Rocco Shooting Cullum
While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) took the blame for Cullum’s shooting, who’s to say the WSB doesn’t have video of Rocco with the gun?
Cullum is high up in the agency, and they wouldn’t just close the case without using all their resources for a full investigation.
If they get footage of the shooting, they can build a case against Jason (even though fans know Rocco did it).
Will Brennan be involved in this process, whether it’s an assignment, or he’s doing it rogue, as he tends to do? Could he start his own investigation if he thinks Jason is taking the fall for someone else?
Brennan Could Overhear Rocco Confessing, Or Lulu And Nathan Talking About It
There’s a strong possibility that Brennan could catch Rocco in the act of confessing, or Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) having a conversation about it as well.
Brennan typically has good intentions, but he can be quite merciless in his work with the WSB. If he picks up on any valuable information, he won’t hesitate to take action.
Charlotte has a deep affection for Lulu, yet Rocco and Valentin hold significant places in her heart too. How conflicted would she feel if Brennan pressured her to betray her father in order to safeguard her brother from WSB detention?
Charlotte Knows How Cruel And Risky The WSB Can Be
Charlotte understands how cruel and risky the WSB is, having seen it herself while fleeing with her dad. She knows the agency and its agents are untrustworthy, as the WSB-and Brennan-have treated Valentin badly.
She would never want Rocco in WSB custody, knowing he couldn’t handle their interrogations or prison life. If Brennan gives her an ultimatum, Charlotte would be torn between protecting her father or revealing his location to save Rocco from the WSB.
