The two are seen in this week’s promo, trying to inject Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) with “locked-in” medication to ensure he remains in the state he’s in.
Will they be successful? Let’s unpack this plot twist below.
The Situation
The General Hospital promo for the week of May 18-22 shows a scene where a male (likely Cullum) is injecting an unknown substance into an IV at the hospital (likely Brennan’s).
Meanwhile, Nina is seemingly holding Brennan down as he looks to be fighting back.
Cullum made it known during the week of May 11-15 that he wanted Brennan to stay in the state that he’s in, during a chat with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
As fans know, Brennan was given the same medication that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was given, which made it look like he was having a stroke.
Now Drew is paralyzed and cannot speak, and to keep him like that, he needs to get an injection of this drug weekly.
As Nina was the one who “accidentally” stabbed Brennan with Drew’s medication, she may be instructed to help with this order.
Still, will Nina be able to go through with it? Brennan isn’t her favorite person; however, she’ll feel very guilty about the situation she’s put him in.
Will They Be Stopped?
Despite feeling horrible, Nina will probably do as she’s told. Still, could Cullum and Nina get caught?
Cullum is Brennan’s medical proxy, as the man has no family, and the WSB is his life. Still, that doesn’t mean a doctor or nurse couldn’t pop in for a routine check-up.
Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) has been feeling “off” about Brennan’s stroke taking place in the same house where Drew had his, so will she walk into the room when all this goes down?
Liz may not see anything, and there is a possibility that Cullum stops quickly as soon as the door opens, so the good nurse may end up being a hero for Brennan.
