Rory Gibson Has Been Engaged Since He Joined GH

Rory Gibson joined General Hospital as a Michael Corithos recast a little over a year ago.  He debuted in Port Charles as Chad Duell’s replacement on May 23, 2025.

A lot of soap opera fans were familiar with Gibson because he played the part of Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless from 2021-2023.

What a lot of General Hospital fans didn’t know about the popular star is he has been engaged since he joined the ABC soap last spring.

Rory Gibson and his high-school sweetheart Alicia Ruelas have been together for fifteen years.  In 2022, Ruelas announced on her Instagram page that Gibson had finally popped the question.

GH Star Jets To Hawaii To Say “I Do”

Hawaii clearly has a special place in Alicia and Rory’s hearts.  In fact, the couple actually were in the Aloha State when they got engaged back in 2022.

According to Rory Gibson’s fiancee’s social media accounts, the Michael Corinthos portrayer popped the question at Mākena Beach in Maui, Hawaii.

Rory Gibson’s blushing bride revealed on social media that she is officially a married woman now.  The GH actor and his fiancee reportedly said “I Do” on Sunday July 11, 2026 in Hawaii.

Alicia confirmed the big day by posting a photo of her and her husband’s wedding bands and captioning it, “Officially Mrs Gibson.”
