‘DOOL’ Spoilers Weekly Update: Troubling Discovery, Special Request, Trauma & Recovery

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for the week of May 4, 2026. Expect Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) to have troubling news for Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) mother.

Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) asks Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) to stay in Salem. Plus, there will be trauma and recovery across the board. Let’s get started chatting about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

Sophia Choi’s Suicide

Let’s kick off this post with Sophia. Fans know she left a suicide note after trying to kill Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).

Then, she did what Kristen instructed, thinking she was going to live a new life somewhere new. Kristen ended up killing her, though. 

On Tuesday, Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) gets troubling news from Jada. This is probably that the evidence suggests Sophia is dead.

Special Request

Over with Alex, he just found out he has a daughter. While this is creating tension and conflict with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), he wants to know his child. There is a DNA test pending, and he will likely find out it’s positive in the upcoming week.

Then, Alex has a request for Joy. The man asks her to stay in Salem. Of course, Joy will probably say yes.

It’s clear she still wants Alex and why else would she announce the news a year later? In any case, Alex and Joy could get closer while Stephanie distances herself.

Johnny DiMera’s Guilt

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of May 4 reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will be comforted by Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens).

Johnny could wonder if he’s partly to blame for Sophia’s suicide. That leads to Johnny getting therapy from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). It sounds like Chanel won’t tell Johnny about her mammogram results until later in the week.

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect, Kristen and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) threaten each other. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) goes to visit Javi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). 

Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) informs Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) that she better keep her distance. That does not sound good for KAMAN!

Also, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) supports Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) before Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo). That is likely connected to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) making a bold claim.

Also, Gabi gets into a huge fight with her daughter. Somehow, I get the feeling that Liam Selejko (Hank Northop) is going to earn Gabi’s respect, so stay tuned.
