EJ is clearly eager to secure that house, and he was pressing Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) about who the buyer is-she provided a name, but it may not be accurate since Rita is in touch with the mystery man, having sent him that Phoenix ring.
Meanwhile, Xander has decided to hold off on finalizing the mansion deal until Philip returns from his trip, as Philip aims to be the family’s hero.
However, Dante has manipulated the situation to prevent Philip from saving the Kiriakis mansion or Titan, despite Philip’s victory.
The mystery man, revealed to be Dominic Marino, has a picture of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) on his desk and wears the ring, suggesting he could be another DiMera offspring.
Given Stefano’s history with multiple partners, it wouldn’t be shocking if he had another secret child with an undisclosed woman.
The Mystery Man Could Be A Son That Stefano Fathered With Marlena When She Was Captive
Rita’s shifting loyalties indicate that the man in the ring is likely a hidden DiMera, as she has always been fiercely loyal to Stefano and his family. The most unsettling possibility is that Stefano fathered a child with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

Leading Belle Black (Martha Madison) to discover a potential half-brother is almost as intriguing, especially since Marlena would eventually learn the truth. It would be quite a twist to reveal that Stefano and Marlena have a son after all this time.
If Dominic is indeed that child, hopefully Marlena was merely a surrogate during her captivity on the island, rather than a biological mother to Stefano’s offspring.
