Currently, Rafe is collaborating with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) as part of their FBI-ISA partnership, but he has experienced frustration with her tendency to act independently, putting their mission at risk.
More complications may arise as Days spoilers indicate that Cat is developing complicated feelings for EJ. Given Cat and EJ’s history from their time at the clinic in Italy, this will play a significant role in their narrative.
In essence, Rafe might realize that Cat is not as dedicated to bringing about EJ’s downfall as she once was.
It’s possible that Rafe will conclude he needs a more ruthless ally who shares his desire to take EJ down just as fiercely.

Rafe might realize he needs a more vengeful partner who wants to take down EJ-this brings us to Kristen, who suggested a revenge team-up in the January 8 episode of Days.
Kristen thinks they both have good reasons to punish EJ and urged Rafe to help her defeat her brother. She mentioned how satisfying it would be to see EJ get what he deserves, which caught Rafe’s attention.
Although Rafe didn’t say yes to teaming up with Kristen, he also didn’t say no. Kristen believes they could get their revenge on EJ faster if they work together, so Rafe might eventually agree.
There May Be A Turning Point Where Rafe Teams Up With Kristen
A turning point may come that leads Rafe to team up with Kristen. Kristen wants EJ to face the music for what happened with Rachel Black (Alice Halsey), but she may have more reasons to go after him soon.
If EJ is the one who told Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) to eliminate Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) at the hospital, Kristen could find out about it.
If she learns EJ caused Peter’s death, her desire for revenge will grow stronger-Days fans might see Kristen’s anger reach new heights.
The DOOL writers likely wouldn’t have had Kristen propose this partnership with Rafe unless it meant something important.
