Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Dr. Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) magical cure just may not be enough to save Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) after all. Dr. Rolf has worked relentlessly to bring Lexie back from the dead.
Unfortunately, it seems that playing God does not always mean that it works. Will Lexie die once again leaving her family devastated?
Nikki Crawford Was Hired Short Term
Spoilers have suggested for months that Lexie would end up the same as before and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) broken-hearted.
According to a leak obtained from a Soap Dirt insider, Crawford was only hired for six months. This means that she won’t be around very long. What will happen to Lexie?
According to this leaker, Crawford wrapped up taping 8 months ago, which means that Lexie is already half-way through her time back in Salem and something will happen in a few weeks.
Does this mean that Dr. Rolf and EJ Dimera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) miracle drug is not as good as they thought? Does the drug need more testing since Lexie doesn’t survive?
EJ Dimera Would Be Devastated
Let’s be honest, EJ didn’t just bring Lexie back because that was what his father wanted. EJ didn’t do it because he loved his sister and wanted her home with her family.
All of this is well and good and just a bit too unselfish for EJ because he always has a motive for everything, he does.
Abe knows that EJ believes Lexie’s return will break up him and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). EJ was stunned to hear that Abe wasn’t necessarily going to give him what he expected.
As upset as EJ would be that what he thought was a miracle didn’t work, EJ was very disappointed that Abe would not be breaking Paulina’s heart right away.
EJ Dimera’s Wishes Fall Through
Lexie could live, die, or leave town. However, it is not likely that a woman who has been gone from her son for 15 years is going to just up and leave the town where he lives unless he and Abe are going to be leaving with her.
Lexie could live and stay in Salem and make the most of her life even if Abe stays with Paulina now that he has fallen in love with her.
It is highly unlikely that this character will be recast again after Lexie has come back and shaken up Salem.
Rumor suggest that even though Lexie’s tests look good so far, all of them aren’t back yet. With Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), is about to leave town for a few days.
Will something dramatic show up while Kayla is gone that points to Lexie’s imminent death? Is Lexie leaving once again?
