Marlena has allowed Belle to have the chess set that Stefano left her and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in his will reading.
Chad had the chess with him when he asked for Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) help with the chess set. Theo mentioned that they set may have secret compartments.
Theo managed to find the key before Chad called Belle about the set. Chad found the keyhole and he and Belle opened the box. Chad and Belle opened the set to find a clue that was money from Italy.

Recipients From The Will Reading Stalked
Fans have seen that certain recipients of the will reading are being stalked and most of them have to do with John. Marlena found a coin at John’s grave that should not have been there.
There is a pawn missing from Marlena’s chess set. Marlena wants nothing to do with this gift even though it keeps popping up.
Are the recipients being watched to see if they figure out that clue or is there more to this story? What is the significance of the missing pawn from Marlena’s gift?

Belle Black Is John Black’s Daughter
Belle is the daughter of John and Marlena which makes her a target. However, Chad is Stefano’s son and that could be interesting. Stefano always believed he and Marlena belonged together.
