When Gleb Savchenko debuted on Dancing With The Stars, a lot of fans didn’t realize that the hunky pro dancer was a married man. That’s probably because he was constantly rumored to be dating celebs from the show.
Gleb Savchenko and Elena Samodanova (also a professional dancer) were married in 2006 and had two daughters together, Olivia and Zlata.
The couple filed for divorce after 14 years together, and it was finalized in 2021. Since then, the exes have struggled to come to a custody arrangement.
Gleb Savchenko Files Court Order
On Tuesday July 15, the Dancing With The Stars cast member reportedly filed a court order against his ex-wife in Los Angeles.
According to a new report from US Magazine, Savchenko’s claims include, “Elena has wrongfully kept our children in Hong Kong for several years. She failed and refused to return the children to the United States as she had agreed in writing to do.”
In the court documents Gleb goes on to say, “Instead, she has remained in Hong Kong, obtained permanent Hong Kong residency, enrolled the children in an expensive private school, got the children a cat, became engaged and had another child with her fiancé.
Elena has essentially established her life with her fiancé and our children, in Hong Kong, without my permission that they remain with her in Hong Kong.”
