It prompts Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to battle on Eric’s behalf.
It’s important to note that Eric has not revealed if he plans to keep working with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Ridge was adamant that Eric was done with Spencer’s Logan line. However, Eric could veto Ridge and continue to work with Bill.
The storyline is setting the stage for a battle between Katie, Bill, Steffy, and Ridge, with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) thrown in the mix, as she tries to play peacemaker.
How Legal Is A Verbal Agreement
Eric gave Katie a verbal agreement. He told her he’d do the line for her, but wanted his name kept secret until it had to be disclosed.
B&B spoilers state that Eric never signed any agreement or contract. However, Bill believes that their verbal agreement would hold up in court, even without the written proof.
He holds on to the belief that Spencer Publications owns Eric’s designs, even if he decides to walk away.
Bill Stands To Lose His Whole Family
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Bill remains focused on being right and doesn’t see how this business squabble could affect his family. Not only is he risking his relationship with Katie, but also his relationship with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras).
Bill values his relationship with his granddaughter. That could be enough to get him to stop any legal battle over Eric’s designs.
We all watched as Steffy told her mother, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), that she would be cut off from her and the grandkids unless she ended her brewing romance with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
Steffy will likely try a similar move with Bill. She might tell him that unless he lets the designs go, he can’t see Kelly anymore.
Even more than that, Brooke and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) could threaten to remove Katie from their lives if Bill doesn’t give up the designs. This could prompt Katie to turn her back on Bill. He stands to love his whole family, all over Eric’s designs.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers state that Steffy will make a power move to try to convince Bill to give up the designs. Keep watching the CBS soap to see how it all pans out.
