They both work at FC and are somewhat on the fringes of the Forrester culture even though Daphne is married to turncoat Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Fans saw Daphne approach Dylan about being her assistant, a position that would be a step up from her entry-level Forrester Creations gig. Dylan just started her job so why the sudden switch up?
We predict that this is not a random move, that Dylan and Daphne will have a connected storyline soon. Bringing Dylan and Daphne into daily contact will grow their bond and perhaps a friendship will flourish as a result.
Even Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is keen on Dylan and recommended that Daphne poach her.

Dylan has more story taking place, with her link to Remy Pryce (Christan Weissmann) unveiled this week.
They are cousins and Daphne almost saw Remy in wardrobe in the May 6 episode. If the two ladies develop a bond, perhaps Dylan takes Daphne into her confidence about Remy?
This would tighten their connection, perhaps to the point that Daphne asks Dylan to be her surrogate.
Daphne and Carter keep taking negative pregnancy tests and we sense this is going to develop into an infertility plot.

What we do know is that The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers point to Dylan and Daphne rapidly taking a liking to each other. Will this be the basis for a surrogacy story?
It’s too soon to say, but the evidence is compelling: Dylan is young, healthy, and let’s be honest, eager to please.
She doesn’t have a lot of resources, so doing this favor, and being paid well, might be attractive to her.
