Steffy Wasn’t At The Big Blowup
Although Steffy wasn’t present at the Forrester mansion during the significant showdown, it’s only a matter of time before she finds herself entangled in the unfolding drama.
With the recent chaos surrounding Eric Forrester (John McCook) reaching a boiling point, Steffy certainly deserves an opportunity to assess the situation and potentially take the reins.
Bill, however, could exacerbate the conflict with Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) now that he’s intent on retaining Eric’s designs for Katie Logan Spencer’s (Heather Tom) fashion line.
Bill has firmly stated that those designs rightfully belong to Logan, yet Katie is apprehensive about standing her ground on this issue, fearing it might further damage her relationship with Brooke.
Ultimately, it was disclosed that Eric only provided a verbal agreement, but Bill remains convinced that they hold the advantage in this matter.
The Forresters Are Ready To Fight
The Forresters are clearly poised for disagreement, which could escalate into a significant legal confrontation if they allow it to progress that far.
Nevertheless, Steffy might opt to sidestep the courtroom entirely and take matters into her own hands to resolve the issue swiftly.
Previously, Steffy managed to assert control over the situation with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) by threatening to exclude her from the family.
This left Taylor with the difficult choice of whether to stay with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) or to remain a part of Steffy’s life and that of her grandchildren.
Since Taylor ultimately chose to side with Steffy, Kelly, and Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick), it’s possible that Steffy could employ a similar tactic against Bill.
Bill Has His Faults, But He Loves His Grandchildren
Despite Bill’s numerous shortcomings, he has an unwavering love for his grandchildren and would be quite upset if Steffy decided to keep Kelly away from him.
Steffy might even consider completely prohibiting Bill from seeing Kelly until he agrees to relinquish Eric’s designs. Naturally, at that juncture, Katie could step in and advise Bill that the situation simply isn’t worth the trouble.
It’s possible that Katie might take decisive action and return Eric’s designs without Bill’s knowledge if the situation demands it.
In any case, Steffy may adopt a more aggressive stance towards Bill in light of all the recent developments regarding Eric, particularly Bill’s attempts to retain Eric’s creations.
