All My Children Actress Needs Your Help – See GoFundMe

Daytime soap fans are rallying the troops for a legendary actress.  All My Children and Santa Barbara alum Marcy Walker needs your help reaching her goal on GoFundMe to help pay for hefty medical bills and related health costs.

The actress is reportedly battling serious health issues and could use all of the well wishes and donations she can get.  Keep reading for all the details!

Marcy Walker On AMC And Santa Barbara

The talented Marcy Walker made her daytime debut on All My Children in 1981 as Liza Colby.  In 1984 Walker left AMC and joined the soap opera Santa Barbara as fan fave Eden Capwell Castillo.  After a decade as Eden, the actress returned to All My Children for another decade.

In between her soap swapping, Marcy Walker also appeared on the now canceled daytime show Guiding Light.  She played the part of Tangie Hill for two years from 1993-1995.

All My Children Star’s GoFundMe

On June 7,Marcy Walker appeared on a virtual fan event with her former co-star A Martinez.  Tickets to view the event cost $100, and it was revealed that he sales were being used to help Marcy with her medical expenses.

A GoFundMe for Marcy Walker began circulating among soap fan groups on social media last week.  According to the official fundraiser page, “While she has spent years giving her time, energy, and heart to others—both as an actress and later through her dedicated ministry and community work—she is currently navigating an ongoing health issue where financial support is urgently needed.”

The original goal on the All My Children star’s fundraiser page is $15,000.  The actress’ fans and former co-stars have rallied together and are well on the way to meeting the threshold.  In fact, at the time of writing this over $12,000 has already been raised.
