Summer openly confessed her uncertainty about ever rekindling her relationship with Chance.
While she attributes her doubts to Chance’s handling of Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) arrest, that reasoning seems flimsy at best. After all, Chance was merely fulfilling his duties, and Daniel himself appears to bear no ill will towards him.
The underlying truth is likely tied to Summer’s resurfacing feelings for Kyle, which seem to be consuming her thoughts.
As she becomes more preoccupied with the idea of reviving their romance, it doesn’t prevent her from seeking support from Chance in the March 12 episode of the show.
