Matt is keeping his real identity under wraps. He is hellbent on making sure everyone thinks his name is Mitch, so he can unleash his evil plot against Sharon and Nick. Even though he has a new identity, so to speak, Matt is still the same monster he was all those years ago.
Matt Clark’s Plan Unfolds
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) is on Matt’s payroll and continues to do his bidding.
Apparently, he could be responsible for putting Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) into a tense kidnapping situation. That hasn’t been confirmed on the CBS soap opera just yet, but it is sure looking like that may be the case.
The weekly preview showed a clip that seemed to confirm that Noah and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) could be Matt and Detective Burrow’s next victims.
The same video clip showed Sharon unraveling after Matt set off the fire alarm at her hotel and showed up at her room’s door.
It seems to point in the direction of Sharon being kidnapped by Matt, with Nick having to either save her from being abducted or search for her after hse goes missing.
Will Matt Clark Pay For His Revenge Plot?
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sharon and Nick could find a path to get Matt arrested this time. However, it likely would happen for a bit, as the writers will want to drag this storyline out a few more weeks.
When Sharon and Nick leave Los Angeles, they will likely feel like they have the upper hand with the Matt drama. But they shouldn’t get ahead of themselves.
Matt is far from done with his revenge scheme. If they let their guard down, Matt could find a way to weasel into their lives and wreak havoc in ways they never imagined.
