Y&R Lucas Adams Shares How His Sister Was Hit By A Drunk Driver

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that life can sometimes imitate art. Noah Newman is still recovering from a car collision on canvas, as the character’s portrayer, Lucas Adams, recently shared how his sister and husband are dealing with a horrific accident at the hands of a drunk driver. Lucas Adams Shares News On Social Media

Adams shared the news about his sister Audrie and husband dealing with the aftermath of a terrible car crash, on his Instagram Story. He posted a photo of the vehicle wreck, with the following caption:

“My sister was hit head-on by a drunk driver over the weekend. Thankfully, she is going to be OK but has a long road ahead of her as her hip and foot were broken.”

He goes on to say, “Her and her husband Josh have 8 kids and could use all the help they can get to get through this. I’m sharing her Venmo, if you can or would like to support them. I know they would very much appreciate it.” The actor shared Audrie’s Venmo QR code in his next IG Story slide.

Scammers On Alert

Unfortunately, the third slide on Adam’s IG Story was alerting fans to some fraudulent activity.

Someone created a fake account to exploit Audrie and Josh’s situation, and Adams shared the said account so none of his fans would fall into the trap.

In the caption, he wrote, “Sadly, someone is trying to exploit the situation and created a fake account. If you are planning to donate, please be sure to choose ‘audriefarris’ all lowercase with one s.”

Adams debuted as the Noah Newman recast on The Young and the Restless earlier this month, launching an explosive storyline that centers around him, his parents, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), as well as “Mitch Bacall” a.k.a. Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

In an interesting twist, Noah is having an affair with “Mitch’s” wife, Sienna Bacall, played by Adams’ former Days of Our Lives onscreen mom, Tamara Braun.
