Bold New Soap On The Horizon
The project reunites the award-winning team of Casey S. Hutchison, Candice Mack, and Emmy Morgan – from ‘Forever and a Day’ fame – along with Emmy Award-winning writer and producer Sally Sussman Morina and acclaimed producer-writer-actors Rob Hill and Dorell Anthony.
The show centers around the town of Chesterfield, as fans follow the lives of the Forsyth family and those within the clan’s orbit.
Mixing traditional soapy storytelling with an innovative approach to multimedia, the series will showcase video atmosphere backdrops, with character visuals, and cinematic opening credits, by welcoming a new chapter where scripted podcast genres are concerned.
The Cast & Writers
Elizabeth von Isser leads the cast, playing twin sisters Eleanor Baker and Evelyn Baker-Forsyth, where the two-some hold years of secrets that could destroy their family’s legacy.
The ensemble cast of the soap includes Candice Mack, Dorell Anthony, Natasha Partnoy, Tonja Walker, Aaron Clark, Matthew Preston, BJ Van Griffin, Ashley Stewart, Joshua Zac Philip, Kristina Sullivan, Diana Collins, Bart, and Peter Black.
In addition, Mack, Morgan, and Hill act as script writers, while Hutchison serves as head writer of the series. Sussman Morina will be a storyline consultant, as Dorell Anthony will also act as supervising producer.
The team’s previous project, Forever and a Day, ran for five seasons and 108 episodes, earning the team an Indie Series Award for Best Ensemble of an Audio Fiction Program. It also featured more than 90 performers from across the entertainment industry.
In a statement, Hutchison notes, “We’ve always believed in the power of the soap opera genre to tell stories that are emotional, thrilling, and deeply human.”
Adding, “Threads of Time is our continued love letter to the genre, and to the fans who crave layered, character-driven storytelling.”
