The season 3 reunion of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ did not fail to come with several full-blown dramas, each one even more shocking than the last.

But what did you expect when the entire cast and their spouses were asked to gather to answer some questions relating to some of the season’s most confusing and controversial topics?

Jessi Draper On How Therapy Helped Her Uncover This Emotionally Damaging Experience

One of the most emotional moments of the reunion happened when Jessi addressed her shaky relationship with husband Jordan, and how therapy helped her unearth a past trauma that had been seriously impacting her relationships.

Of course, this emotional moment was spurned when Mikayla and Jace Matthews opted to share intimate details of their marriage on the season. Mikayla was sexually abused as a child, which no doubt impacted her relationship with her husband. At the current moment, the couple are working through this in therapy.

However, watching Mikayla share her story, Jessi was visibly moved into sharing hers. She revealed that she was raped at 19: “I actually uncovered the memory that I was raped when I was 19.” This part of her trauma was unearthed through therapy, and working side by side with her husband Jordan, she is determined to push through it and finally cast off any lingering effects of that trauma.

Everybody was emotionally affected by Mikayla and Jessi’s stories, most especially Connor Leavitt and Demi Engemann.

What Sparked Jessi and Marciano’s Relationship Fallout

The entire cast got heated up again when new footage surfaced showing an interesting conversation Jessi shared with ‘Vanderpump Villa’ cast member Marciano Brunette.

Whilst we were treated to the duo’s emotional affair throughout the third season, the phone call added an extra layer of intrigue to the whole situation.

In the call, Marciano was busy insisting they had sex, while Jessi pushed back, saying, “we kissed twice and that was it.”

The clip also included Marciano wanting answers to Jessi’s fiery promise to leave her husband for his sake, for which Jessi, even though she didn’t deny it, she added more context to it.

She explained that she never wanted to leave her husband for the sake of Marciano; the reason she wanted to leave her husband was to focus on her own well-being.

Jen Affleck then insisted that Marciano and Jessi’s relationship was more intimate than the latter was letting on, and well, the whole situation quickly dissolved into a war of words from there.
