New Jeffrey Epstein Controversy Killed Any Hope of Prince Andrew’s Daughters Becoming Working Royals
Prince Andrew may no longer be a working royal, but he had hoped that one day, one, or both, of his daughters may step into the role.
At one point, this little dream might have become a reality, but it’s seeming less and less possible now that Sarah has waded into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal space alongside her husband, who is actually now a regular.
Royal biographer Andrew Lownie recently told nine.com.au that it was Prince Andrew’s dearest wishes that his daughters will one day fill the “royal void” he and the Sussexes left when they stepped down from their royal duties.
The royal expert explained that “what Andrew is doing now is he’s transferred all his ambitions to his daughter.”
“He’s pushing them, they’re part of the family business, they’re doing a lot of work in the Middle East at least at the moment. Also, he’s trying to get them into the royal family to take on life as a working royal,” he further noted.
Happily, Andrew’s dreams is one that his daughters share.
A source close to Princess Beatrice said: “Beatrice does want to be a working royal and she wants to do royal events to help her uncle because she’d enjoy them and she would be good at the job.”
The source continued: “She’s never put a foot wrong, don’t forget – and she shouldn’t be punished for the sins of her father. But the King’s courtiers are concerned Andrew could try to ‘get in via the back door’ by exerting influence over her.”
At the moment, neither Beatrice nor her sister Eugenie have commented on the latest controversies involving their mother.
In addition to this, palace sources have revealed that King Charles is looking forward to ensuring that Andrew truly became “invisible.” This would include excluding him from family gatherings.
