Prince Harry’s visit to the UK was rife with speculations about what his impending meeting with the King could yield.
A source close to the Prince even boldly proclaimed that Harry could be given the chance to return as a working royal in some capacity, despite the late Queen turning down his half-in half-out offer.
Well, if there were people holding out hope for it, Buckingham Palace has just dashed it all into the ground with the latest revelation.
Prince Harry Won’t Be Returning As A Working Royal In Any Capacity
No. Prince Harry won’t be joining King Charles for royal outings. No. Prince Harry won’t be officially representing His Majesty in any capacity.
“The King has been absolutely clear in upholding his late mother’s decision that there can be no ‘half-in, half-out’ public role for members of the family,” a royal source told The Times.
In response to this, a spokesperson for Harry told The Times: “The duke has made it clear that the focus has to be on his dad. Beyond that, and on any other issues as it relates to his family, we won’t be commenting.”
This is coming after Prince Harry told The Guardian that he doesn’t believe any of his actions was morally depraving in any way. The actions in this context may or may not include his Oprah tell-all, ‘Spare,’ ‘Harry and Meghan’ and such like podcasts and interviews.
“I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” he said.
Is Prince Harry Planning A Return To the UK?
While it’s not clear whether Harry plans to return to the UK, it’s currently being speculated he could be sending Archie and Lilibet over for educational purposes.
Apparently Harry believes the UK educational system allows one to have a “community,” which is something he finds very enticing.
Even singer Joss Stone was ready to suggest that Harry may well bring his children to the UK and find them a school there.
This is, of course, based simply on their short conversation during the WellChild Awards in London and may not be a true reflection of the Prince’s wishes.
