Meghan Markle Netflix Crisis: Behind-the-Scenes Drama Revealed

Meghan Markle seems to be running into problems with Netflix, according to a well-known royal commentator this weekend. Read on for more details about behind the scenes difficulties.

Deepening Crisis?

Royal commentator Neil Sean exposed the deepening crisis surrounding Meghan Markle’s Netflix venture. According to him, there are some desperate measures being taken to salvage the failing project.

Neil Sean Claims With Love Meghan Flopped – Daily Headline News – YouTube

On his Daily News Headlines segment on YouTube this weekend, , Sean delivered a harsh assessment of the situation, using insider sources to highlight the Duchess of Sussex’s struggles in Hollywood.

Allegedly, the ratings for With Love Meghan have not been good on Netflix. Sean revealed that there is some public fallout over her show’s dismal viewership. He also alleged that Netflix executives are scrambling to justify their investment, with one proposed solution being last-minute reshoots.

“They’re wondering about now shooting some new brand-new inserts to try and pep up the [series],” Sean explained. “People perhaps giving a verdict on something that Megan’s cooked or indeed something about what happened in the first series. That’s how desperate it’s becoming.”

‘Love Meghan’ Underperformed

The show, With Love Megan, reportedly underperformed so badly that folks mocking it mainly gave the idea that it would be popular. “What did well was the spoof clips, the people mocking the show,” Sean noted. He suggested Netflix might pivot to another direction. He opined, “If they were really clever, they should capitalize on that and perhaps look at that and think maybe we should make it a little bit more comedic.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s detachment from the project has grown increasingly obvious. “He’s definitely moving away from this whole project,” Sean said, referring to Harry’s polo venture and lack of interest in entertainment. He added, “He’d rather walk through fake landmines up and down Angola than do another series of polo. That’s very, very clear.”

Huge Production Costs

The financial stakes seem staggering. Sean highlighted the  production costs, including an “80-man crew or 80-person crew, right? Just to film a OnePlus one in a rented house.” He questioned Netflix’s refusal to cut its losses, especially given Meghan’s side ventures like her failed jam and wine brands.

“The boss truly stuck his neck out and basically said that Megan really was a phenomenon who could sell anything. Well, apart from TV audiences, clearly,” he alleged.

An Important Upcoming Meeting

With a critical meeting allegedly scheduled, Netflix faces a no-win scenario. “Whatever they decide to do looks bad,” Sean concluded. “They can’t really climb out of it.” For Meghan Markle, the dream of Hollywood success now hangs by a thread. And, even her loyalists struggle to spin it in a way to avoid disaster, in Sean’s opinion.

The commentator doesn’t believe that any clever new ideas will change the fact that people simply don’t want to watch the former cast member of Suits. Certainly it seems as if her PR team will have to do some fast talking.

Royal Family Fans React

The comments section of the YouTube vlog buzzed as many people reacted to the news. One of them wrote, “Markle isn’t likable. She isn’t relatable. She’s phony and fake. Everyone sees it. Enough already.”

Here are a few more reactions:

  • No matter what Meghan tries, she cannot make people stop hating her. The late Queen was respected and loved by everyone, but Meghan set out to humiliate her. There’s no going back for her now!
  • Tell them not to bother filming extra scenes. The show is awful.
  • Netflix is stooooopid for not taking the loss and dumping them both.
  • Netflix flogging a decomposing horse. Ridiculous.
