According to royal commentator Neil Sean on his Daily News Headlines vlog, the British monarchy faces a serious threat from politicians. So much so, that Sean alleged that real danger comes from the current government, rather than from family squabbles.
So, he argued that Harry and Meghan simply become less important in public opinion. That’s because, from his conservative stance, the royal expert believes the actual issue is “bigger” and “more catastrophic.”
Sean believes Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government applies a lot of pressure, and does it deliberately. If you don’t know, he already publicly pressured Prince Andrew to comply and assist the USA with their Epstein investigations. Meanwhile, Sean said that Starmer and several ministers previously showed a lack of support for the monarchy.
The situation, Sean alleges, all arose because of Prince William. Many people feel that he was behind King Charles’ decision to strip Prince Andrew’s royal titles. While many fans of the prince hailed the decision as a good one, it seems to have cracked open a door for critics. In fact, it puts the royal family under a lot of scrutiny. “Once you start this,” Sean said as a warning to William, “people will then look into other areas.”
Prince Harry’s Fault?
Tying it in with Prince Harry, Sean opined that he is a lot to blame for the increased scrutiny of what happens in the palace. Actually, he became quite harsh towards Meghan and Harry, noting that they’ve done “so much to damage the monarchy.”
Finally, Sean suggested that King Charles made a big mistake by trusting the new Prime Minister. Now, he said, the King “is feeling the heat” from a problem that William inadvertently created. Of course, all of this is the last thing the monarch needs as he just tries to do the right thing while also trying to manage his own health.
