King Charles is not ready to have someone come running to him to ask him to pull some strings and get him his 24/7 taxpayer funded security.
Yup, we’re still talking about that one security case that Prince Harry refuses to let go of.
He returned to the UK earlier this month to take part in a court hearing about the security case. Though reports suggest he is none too happy about the way things are proceeding.
According to a friend of the Duke, he doesn’t understand why his father isn’t rushing in to help him win his security back.
Just between you and me, Harry kinda believes King Charles can just snap his fingers and get him the security back. So why won’t he?
King Charles Has Stopped Picking Prince Harry’s Calls
According to a report published by Cosmopolitan, Prince Harry has been calling and writing letters to get his father’s attention – all to no avail. The elderly monarch is said to go about his day without as much as wishing to speak to his son.
This may explain why Harry could never catch the King when he’s not at his busiest. You know, as Harry flew in for his court case from the US, King Charles flew out of the country to Italy.
Since Harry’s court case has been scheduled for a while now, it’s safe to assume that this coincidence may have happened on purpose.
In Charles’ defense, he doesn’t want Harry to bait him into saying words he could weaponize for his ongoing court case. And who could blame him? ‘Spare,’ anyone?
“[The legal battle] puts Harry in direct contact with the people who are carrying out the King’s orders,” royal author Sally Bedell Smith told People. “If his father was to say something even seemingly innocuous, it could end up landing in the middle of the court case.”
The King may be battling cancer, but Harry believes his court battle should be top of mind, so it’s possible that a chat between the two would not yield pretty results.
