And as if this is not enough, he is being summoned to the US to give evidence in cases relating to his relationship with the late convicted pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
Royal Expert Says Andrew Is “Terrified” To Sit For An Interview With the US Committee
Jeffrey Epstein may be dead, but his ghost is haunting one Andrew, formerly a Prince and the Duke of York.
However, if losing his titles was all he had to suffer, then he may actually enjoy the rest of the year in peace. According to Phil Dampier, Andrew is not happy about the US Congress summons.
US politicians sent a letter to Andrew last Thursday, Nov 6, asking him to appear for a “transcribed interview” in connection with his “long-standing friendship” with Jeffrey Epstein.
In the letter, they mentioned that their committee had identified “financial records containing notations such as ‘massage for Andrew’ that raise serious questions.” Co-signed by 16 Democratic committee members, Andrew is required to respond by Nov. 20.
Dampier told The Sun: “Just when you think it can’t get any worse for Prince Andrew, it seemingly does. He’s had his title stripped away from him by the King, and now he’s got this summons from a congressional committee in the States.”
“I don’t think he’s actually been ordered or can be compelled to go to this committee. I certainly don’t think it’s likely that he’s going to travel to the United States.”
He added: “I think that’s about, as likely as me flying to the moon, to be honest. I know that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as he now is, is terrified that if he goes abroad, he might be arrested and extradited to the States.”
Despite settling Virginia Giuffre in 2022 for an undisclosed amount of money, Andrew has always resisted every and all accusations of pedophilic activities relating to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
