GH Spoilers: Why Isn’t Georgie A Part Of The GH Teen Crew?

General Hospital spoilers tease the writers have been making good use of our time lately building out what appears to be the future of Port Charles.

Like it or not, at some point, the “OG’s” get to retire, and someday, the likes of Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be a memory instead of part of our every Monday through Friday routine.

While I hope that day is a long time from now as much as the next fan, I can’t help but wonder why GH is building out an all-star cast of up-and-comers like Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), Emma Scorpio Drake (Bradyn Bruner), Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) — all while seemingly forgetting about Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher)?

While Emma has been around since 2008, and Charlotte in 2009, Danny came along in 2012, and Rocco was born in 2013 just like Georgie. So, what gives?

If we’re rounding up all the characters who could catapult GH into the next generation and pull in viewers who are bound to help us keep it on the air another 60-plus years, wouldn’t it make sense to extend that olive branch to all the important families in the mix?

We’re not about to accept the idea that Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) isn’t a vital part of Port Chuck’s future.

GH Spoilers Leak the Gang’s All Here

While Maxie is laid up in a hospital bed in a coma in Boston, her kids are growing up without her. One would think that GH writers would give special attention to her family right now.

This week is the first we’ve seen Mac Scorpio (John J. York) in a while, and most of the time he was on-screen was about Sonny.

We’ve seen Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) only really as it relates to work as well, and Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is kind of flapping in the wind while we don’t really see Georgie or James West (Gary James Fuller).

In other words, why not scoop Georgie up and give her something to cling to — like a boy, a friend, or a troubling spell that keeps her distracted from how much she misses her mom?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Scorpio Family Tree

Emma might be cozying up to Gio lately, and that makes sense that he has pulled Rocco into orbit as his brother. Charlotte and Danny being extensions of Rocco’s family life, it also makes sense that they’re in the mix. But why not have Emma welcome Georgie into the fold?

It makes sense they would be close since Maxie and Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) are, no?

Given that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is Robin’s father, and his brother Mac is the strongest father figure Maxie has ever had — and surrogate grandpa to Georgie, I think this makes the most sense.

GH, why are you ignoring Georgie? Either bring her into the fold, or give us back Georgie Jones (Lindze Letherman) in the next retcon! Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
